So what’s unique about Clipacore Fluemate? Problem: Stubborn to remove 4” aluminium flue pipes require hammering out which in turn can disrupt brickwork or render, when replacing boilers. Flue hole needs to be enlarged e.g. to take a Flue Snug. Solution: Clipacore Fluemate Barrel Guide simply slides inside the existing 4” aluminium flue pipe (once the 2” internal plastic pipe is removed from the Flue by hand) and scars the wall allowing a new hole to be cut, including the safe removal of adhesives. The spring loaded barrel allows for quick and easy removal once the wall has been scarred. Plumbers existing core bits of 117mm, 127mm, 152mm can be used to cut the new hole. Clipacore Fluemate comes complete with the following; 1. 1/2” drill/arbor adaptor, 2 & 3. DuoCut adaptor with quick release clip, 5. Compression spring and 6. 94mm barrel guide. (The core bit, item 4 in the diagram, is not included).
